Hi there! My name is Alpman Ilker and I am a general contractor, classic American muscle car enthusiast, and a loving father. My wife Susan and I have two children, Sarah and Tom. We also have a Golden Retriever named Doug who has been with us for three years already. Unlike other parents, I have always wanted to have a dog in the house because it helps the children learn how to be responsible and compassionate. And let’s be honest, life at home is more colorful with an active furry friend.
I also work for a construction firm as a general contractor. I am in charge of overseeing all that goes on in a site. On an average day, I interact with construction workers, suppliers, engineers, architects, and other professionals involved in the project. Part of my job is to make sure that everything and everyone is working well.
When I’m not busy with my work, I like looking at classic American muscle cars. I own a Ford Falcon ’67 and while it’s almost done, I’m still thinking about how I’ll go about the finishing touches.
